Minimum Requirements: Rand Water Cleaner 2024
- Grade 12 qualification
- At least 1 year of relevant cleaning experience
- Basic computer literacy
- Basic knowledge of stock tracking
Primary Duties: Rand Water Cleaner 2024
- Conduct cleaning of ablution and shower rooms twice daily, ensuring the availability of necessary supplies like soap, toilet paper, hand towels, air fresheners, and safety, health, and environment (SHE) packets.
- Report any instances of misconduct, damages to the building, or furniture removal to the supervisor.
- Sweep paved areas surrounding and inside the building, including rooms, workshops, plant rooms, generator rooms, and ablutions.
- Clean and sweep parking areas, platforms, and building entrances.
- Ensure daily cleaning of entrance areas, conference rooms, and servicing of dustbins.
- Pick up litter and debris from the ground and gardens.
- Use cleaning chemicals following specified instructions.
- Clean handrails, staircases, windows up to 3 meters in height, microwaves, and fridges.
- Wrap walls, clean door handles, especially those made of brass.
- Vacuum offices and open plan areas.
- Assist in moving furniture when required.
- Prepare refuse bags for collection by service providers.
- Dust desks, cupboards, chairs, and furniture in both offices and open plan areas.
- Perform weekly cleaning of the roof, solar panels, and management parking.
Knowledge: Rand Water Cleaner 2024
- Understanding of hygiene principles
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and Environmental regulations
- Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
