Qualifications & Experience
• Completed Senior certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent.
• Must be a South African citizen.
• Between the ages of 18 and 34.
• Must be aligned to the EE requirement of the Programme.
• Must be available and committed to work full time for 12 months.
• Individual should have an avid interest in the Transport and Logistics industry.
• Must be unemployed.
• Must not be enrolled in any academic studies for 2025 or be studying during the Programme.
• Must not have participated in the YES Programme before with any company.
Key Responsibilities
• Be committed to a fixed 12 months YES (Youth Employment Services) Programme which will comprise of 25 modules of theoretical and practical components.
• All modules will be completed on the YES Platform and a portfolio of evidence to be completed and submitted upon completion of the Programme.

Key responsibilities:
• Deliver goods while operating a tractor-trailer truck, sometimes over intercity routes or spanning several states.
• Load and unload cargo.
• Record amount and type of cargo being delivered.
• Take orders for new deliveries.
• Drive long distances.
• Fill up on fuel, clean truck, and wash windows.
• Report to a dispatcher any incidents encountered on the road.
• Monitor road conditions and watch for traffic congestion.
• Follow all applicable traffic laws.
• Inspect their trailer before and after the trip and record any defects they find.

Desired Experience & Qualification
• Namibian Citizen
• Grade 10 or Matric certificate
• Code CE Driver’s License (older than 3 years)
• 3 Years relevant experience
• Dangerous Goods Certificate (Road transport)
• Police Clearance certificate with a clean record (not older than 3 months)
