We are looking for a Waitron to join our team! The Waitron owns the guest experience from seating to farewell, ensuring every guest feels welcomed, cared for, informed, and valued throughout their visit. This role works closely with the kitchen, front-of-house, and management teams to deliver seamless service, anticipate guest needs, and take accountability for guest satisfaction. Waitrons who consistently demonstrate guest ownership, proactive communication, and leadership may be considered for expanded responsibilities and future service leadership opportunities.

What you’ll do

This is a list of tasks that you will be responsible for doing on your days at work.

  • Greet and seat guests warmly, acknowledge children, assist with ordering, and confirm dietary preference
  • Serve food correctly, check in with guests regularly, resolve concerns promptly, and ensure guests feel cared for from arrival to departure
  • Farewell guests courteously and invite them back
  • Keep tables clean, set, and ready before service
  • Clear and reset tables promptly, monitor the dining area for cleanliness and safety, and manage seating or queues during peak periods
  • Handle food and beverages according to hygiene standards
  • Maintain personal grooming and uniform compliance
  • Report any food quality concerns immediately
  • Act as the link between guests, kitchen, and front-of-house to ensure accurate, timely service
  • Update the team proactively on guest needs, delays, or special requests
  • Anticipate service bottlenecks, communicate early, and collaborate with peers and supervisors to maintain smooth floor flow
