KFC JOBS

To prepare all KFC products in accordance with the KFC standard operating procedures, with strict adherence to Health and Safety standards

Prepare and cook KFC products using approved KFC standards and procedures when instructed by the manager

  • Portion ingredients and cooked products using approved KFC procedures
  • Hold and monitor product quality by checking and acting upon expiration dates and times for each product
  • Ensure the correct use of product holding equipment in respect of holding times and temperatures
  • Follow all standard procedures and schedules for cleaning and sanitizing food preparation and storage areas equipment and utensils
  • Capture product preparation information and monitor product quality by checking and acting upon expiration dates and times for products
  • Adhere to Yum’s culture principles
  • Be obsessed about product quality by ensuring product is prepared and served to customers as per KFC standards and every customer is satisfied
  • Perform other duties from time to time as requested by the Restaurant General Manager/Assistant Manager/Shift Supervisor

Restaurant General Manager (Senior Manager)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve High Standards within the restaurant by ensuring that all employees are focused on exceeding customer expectations for Cleanliness, Hospitality, Accuracy, Maintenance, Product and Speed of Service.
  • Manage shifts and costs controls in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures including directing the activities of employees in maximizing sales, operating efficiency and profitability.
  • Forecast and schedule labor by shift and create a deployment plan to control labor costs and still meet the needs of the business.
  • Ensure that controls and procedures are implemented to protect the safety and security of employees, customers, property, and company funds.
  • Facilitate restaurant training programmed for all staff to company standard to enable them to maximized performance and realize their career potential.
  • Initiate action where necessary to ensure that all employees meet the standards of performance required
  • Support and act as a role model to employees, providing leadership as necessary.
  • Manage Local Store Marketing activities to grow sales.
  • Achieve consistent results through team management and leadership

Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • Prior supervisory experience
  • English Proficiency
  • Numeracy Proficiency
  • Computer Literate
  • Financial Acumen
  • Ability to work under pressure and enjoy working shifts

Pay: R14 000,00 – R18 000,00 per month

  • Kraaifontein, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

  • Restaurant management: 1 year (Required)
