Life Healthcare Learnership 2024/25 At Life St. George’s Hospital, there is a position available for an 18.2 HWSETA Basic Level Pharmacist Assistant Learner. This position reports to Senior Pharmacist Adaire Begley.

The chosen applicant will receive an offer from Life St. George’s Hospital Pharmacy for a 12-month employment period, during which time the HWSETA grant will pay for the course tuition and stipend.
To be eligible for enrollment, prospective students must additionally complete an assessment in reading and math and receive a score of 85%.
Critical Outputs Life Healthcare Learnership 2024/25
- General housekeeping and administrative tasks in the pharmacy as specified by the Pharmacy Manager/Senior Pharmacist.
- Assist with unpacking of medicines.
- Picking, packing and dispatching of ward orders.
- Assist with cycle counts and stock takes of pharmaceutical stock.
- Assist with the compounding of pharmaceutical preparations.
- The provision of information to individuals to promote health.
Requirements Life Healthcare Learnership 2024/25
- Matric certificate (certified copy).
- Passed Maths/Maths Lit and Science/Life Science.
- Currently unemployed.
- From a previously disadvantaged background.
- Computer literacy will be an advantage.
- The ideal incumbent should be highly motivated, enthusiastic and work well in a team.
