- Determining customer requirements and advising on product range, pricing, and warranties
- Demonstrating, explaining, and advising on products to customers
- Driving sales, including add-on sales and services
- Ensuring goods are correctly priced and displayed
- Executing promotions on time and planning ahead
- Maintaining merchandising layouts and housekeeping standards
- Preparing and implementing sales promotions promptly
- Reporting fast and slow-selling items to the Store Manager
- Participating in stock takes and counts
- Minimizing stock loss
- Reducing expenses within your area of responsibility

- Protecting company assets in your area
Toy R Us Shop Assistant X22 Entry Requirements:
- Matric Certificate
- Six months of retail experience
- Reliable transport for shift work
Toy R Us Shop Assistant X22 General Responsibilities:
- Performing other relevant duties as requested by Senior Management
- Undertaking mandatory and service training as required
- Maintaining strict confidentiality of all information
- Regularly undergoing appraisals and personal development reviews
- Staying up-to-date with current SOPs
- Fully cooperating with the introduction of new technology and methods
