Education: An undergraduate qualification in Public Administration, Public Management, Business Administration, Administrative Management, Operations, Human Resources, Business Management (NQF Level 6). An NQF level 7 qualification (Bachelor of Administration, Business Administration, B-Tech, or Advanced Diploma in Public Administration, Public Management, Operations, Human Resources, Business Management, or Bachelor of Arts with majors in Industrial Psychology and Public Administration) will be an added advantage.

Experience: One year of clerical experience and experience in client/customer service will be an added advantage.

Licenses: A valid driver’s license (Code 10) and a valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP).

Duties:

Supervise and administer the daily operations of Civic Services functions within the Mobile Offices, including Identity Document, Birth, Marriage, and Death (BMD) and Passport application processes.

Supervise and monitor operations at different service points.

Manage client queues and daily operations.

Ensure proper maintenance and examination of the Mobile Office.

Perform daily and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the Mobile Unit’s safety.

Implement effective risk and compliance practices.

Facilitate client services at service points.

Operate specialized equipment in the front and back offices.

Drive the mobile unit to service points and ensure timely setup.

Assist clients with embarking and disembarking the mobile units, including disabled clients.

Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Comply with Civic Services frameworks.

Supervise resources (human and physical) within the unit.
