Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Houseman to join our maintenance and housekeeping teams. This role requires a strong work ethic and trustworthiness, as you will be instrumental in maintaining our facilities and assisting with various maintenance tasks. Your commitment to our standards and ability to handle diverse tasks will ensure that our guests enjoy a comfortable and safe stay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of guest rooms, public areas, and other facilities.
  • Perform heavy lifting tasks and assist the maintenance team with moving furniture and equipment.
  • Clean balconies and windows, ensuring a spotless exterior appearance.
  • Replace light bulbs, fix hinges, service drains, and perform other small handyman tasks.
  • Restock amenities such as toiletries, towels, and linens.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and ensure their needs are met.
  • Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
  • Follow company standards and procedures for cleaning and sanitization.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications:

  • Trustworthy and hardworking.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or maintenance work, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Good communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
  • A driver’s license is a huge bonus.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Working Hours:

  • Work 6 days a week with 1-2 days off.
  • Daily working hours are from 08h00 to 17h00.
