Job Advert Summary
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking General Worker to support daily warehouse operations within a fast-paced FMCG environment. The successful candidate will assist with receiving, packing, loading, offloading, stock handling, cleaning, and maintaining warehouse standards to ensure efficient distribution of goods.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric certificate advantageous.
- Previous warehouse or FMCG experience preferred.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy items.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or overtime when required.
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and store incoming stock correctly.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with loading and offloading delivery vehicles.
- Ensure products are handled carefully to prevent damage.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Conduct stock counting and assist with inventory control.
- Follow health and safety procedures and company policies.
- Report damaged stock, shortages, or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment where authorized.
- Support other warehouse duties as required.

EDUCATION
- Matric, NQF level 4 or any other equivalent qualification
CERTIFICATIONS AND TRAINING COURSES
General maintenance training
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Two years working experience in maintenance environment.
INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE
Knowledge of methods used in maintenance including the following trades: carpentry, plumbing, glass replacement, painting, appliance repair, standard practices and tools used in the maintenance and repair of building facilities, safety practices and procedures relating to building trades.
