  • Provide appropriate solutions through product and service recommendations.
  • Identify new business opportunities by understanding market trends.
  • Follow up on sales leads and maintain customer engagement.
  • Liaise with the Department Manager and merchandisers regarding customer-preferred products.
  • Maintain outstanding store conditions, including layout, cleanliness, pricing, product availability, and visual merchandising standards.
  • Participate in the department’s commercial action plan.
  • Assist customers with their projects from start to finish, including delivery and installation services.
  • Demonstrate autonomy in assisting customers throughout the sales process.
  • Contribute to the sales process by ensuring the store is fully stocked.

Requirements: Leroy Merlin Sales Consultant 2024

  • Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a sales consultant (experience in hardware sales is advantageous).
  • Passion for serving customers.
  • Friendly, helpful, confident, and engaging personality.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of pricing methodologies.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Curiosity and initiative.
  • Strong relationship management skills.

  • Ability to manage a customer portfolio throughout the sales process (before, during, and after).
